Wakeoe Shrine had the pleasure of welcoming siblings from Taiwan to the shrine.

It was their first visit to Japan, and we were delighted to learn that they had studied Japanese in school. They showed grat familiarity with the language, wich made the experience even more enjoyable for everyone.

During the sutra-copying experience, they wrote beautifully and smoothly, with great care and focus. It was truly impressive to see their dedication and skill.

We were also very happy to hear that they visited our shrine upon the recommendation of a friend in Taiwan. It is always a great joy to know that our shrine is being shared across borders.

While exploring the shrine grounds, they happily took photos of each other, creating a warm and joyful atmosphere.

As they were leaving, they told us how much they hand enjoyed their visit, which brought us great happiness as well.

We are sincerely grateful for this wonderful connection and hope to contiue being a place where meaningful memories are made.
