"Koto Chikage" offers workshops where you can comfortably and intently experience the charm of Japan’s proud traditional culture.
The workshops are produced by the Ikuta School of Koto Chikage, recipients of the Aichi Prefecture Cultural Arts Award. With skilled instructors and attentive guidance, the workshops offer an enjoyable way to deepen your understanding of traditional culture while continuing your learning.

Learn to play the koto (Japanese stringed instrument) and sangen (three-stringed instrument), and experience various aspects of Japanese culture, including etiquette and the art of wearing kimono.
We also offer an original workshop combining English and Koto, which has been well received by participants as a way to welcome international visitors and nurture international sensibilities in children.
Experienced instructors provide one-on-one guidance, making it a perfect setting for beginners.
